Central Baltic Transport (CBTRAN)

Regions around the Baltic Sea need to work together if they wish to improve and develop sustainable transport corridors. During CBTRAN project Vidzeme Planning Region and other project partners will try to develop and submit an application for the Central Baltic programme. A project within the Central Baltic programme would be one way to enable the concrete actions for transport corridor development in East-West direction (Sweden – Russia) suggested by all partners within the CBTRAN project. Those actions would focus on travel time (both for passengers and flows of goods), which is one of the main result indicators for successfully implemented project.
