Project objectives

The aim of the H2Value project is to establish the first interregional green hydrogen value chain in South Estonia (Tartu region) and Northern Latvia (Vidzeme region) to activate the emerging hydrogen markets in these regions.

Activities

1. Create an interregional roadmap for the development of a green hydrogen value chain in South Estonia (Tartu) and Vidzeme (Latvia).
2. Develop and implement an innovation management plan.
3. Supporting internal exploitation efforts by preparing exploitation roadmaps for the post-project period.
4. Develop a replication toolkit to enhance results of the project, especially among EU-13.
5. Develop business and investment plans.

1. Development plan for hydrogen production system.
2. Development plan for hydrogen distribution system.
3. Interregional business and investment plan.
4. Market readiness assessment.
5. Ex-post evaluation of demonstrations.

Budget

Total budget: 4 284 280,00 EUR

VPR budget: 143 487,00 EUR (70% funded by the I3 Programme - 100 440,90 EUR - and 30% national contribution - 43 046,10 EUR)

Implementation period

02.11.2022. - 01.11.2025.
The implementation period of the H2Value project has been extended until December 2026
