The logo of the Vidzeme Planning Region reflects the diversity and splendor of the region, which permeates its identity and development throughout the year. The colors symbolize not only the change of seasons, but also the path of development of the region:
- The Yellow path – the brightness of the Vidzeme summer sun, energy and abundance of opportunities. It symbolizes openness to new ideas and creative initiatives.
- The Orange path – The splendor and maturity of autumn, characterizing the preservation of the region’s values and smart development. It calls for a balance between tradition and innovation.
- The Blue path – Winter’s vigor, clarity and reflection, which gives Vidzeme resilience and planned development in the long term.
- The Green path – Spring rebirth and hope, symbolizing a new beginning, sustainability and harmony with nature.
The highlighted road line in the center of the logo leads upwards, emphasizing Vidzeme’s continuous growth and movement towards development based on a balance between nature, society, and the economy.
