Project objectives

The goal is to promote entrepreneurship for women (age 40+) in the creative industries in the region, especially as sole proprietors or small businesses.

Activities

  1. To provide activities for a closed group of participants (20 from Latvia, 20 from Estonia) within the framework of a structured training programme combined with individual consultations led by creative industry professionals and experts. The programme will provide opportunities to acquire new knowledge and strengthen existing competences in key areas such as digital skills development, research into regional cultural heritage materials, the development of new and existing products and services, the creation of marketing materials, and entrepreneurship skills.
  2. To organize experience exchange trips between regions for groups of participants, presenting examples of good practice, establishing new contacts.
  3. To organize public events, creating discussions among representatives of creative industries, through cooperation between regions.

Results

Improving the entrepreneurial skills of at least 30 participants (15 from Latvia, 15 from Estonia), raising the level of activity (expanded entrepreneurship, new types of activities, forms of products, improved functionality, etc.).

Budget

Total budget: 213 422,12 EUR

VPR budget: 94 715,60 EUR (80% funded by the ERDF - 75 772,48 EUR -and 20% national contribution –18 943,12 EUR)
