The solutions developed will be evaluated mainly on the basis of the following criterion: the efficiency of the solution, comparing the resources required (natural, human and financial) with the performance of the system. What is “Aloja Starkelsen”? “Aloja Starkelsen” Ltd. is a food raw materials producer, focusing on raw materials of different specifications of legume protein, starch and potato starch, as well as the development of food (animal nutrition) solutions based on ingredients obtained through sustainable agricultural practices and gentle processing, minimising environmental impact and maximising the natural properties of the raw material in the final product. The Hackathon challenge is international and the working language of the events is English. Participation in the hackathon is free. International teams from the Baltic Sea region (Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Germany, Poland, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania) will also be offered travel reimbursements.
