On October 28, from 9:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., the second in-person discussion of the project Agro Building Carbon (ABC) – “Tools for the Development of Agro Construction in Latvia” – will take place at the Latvijas State Forests (LVM) Rietumvidzeme Regional Client Centre (Vanagu Street 1, Valmiermuiža, Valmiera).
The event continues the discussions launched earlier in Riga at Paraugtipogrāfija, where industry professionals agreed on the need to strengthen cooperation between researchers, entrepreneurs, and policymakers to ensure that bio-based building materials gain a stable place in sustainable construction. In Valmiermuiža, the focus will shift to practical tools and approaches – exploring how support mechanisms, markets, and policy initiatives can help introduce agro-based building materials on a wider scale.
