Project objective

AgriExcel contributes to the Smarter Europe via promoting innovative and smart economic transformation and regional ICT connectivity in the context of the agrifood system. The aim is to support digitisation for boosting the resilience, sustainability, viability, and competitiveness of the agrifood sectors of the European regions.

Activities

  1. Interregional study visits and thematic workshops;
  2. Regional stakeholder group meetings;
  3. Regional co-learning innovation workshops;
  4. Identification, analysis, and dissemination of good practices;
  5. Development of policy recommendations and participation in the Interreg Europe Policy Learning Platform;
  6. Applying a mission-oriented innovation approach to guide digitization;
  7. Implementing digital solutions within the agrifood system.

Results

  1. Interregional and regional cooperation, learning, and co-creation events and workshops;
  2. Good practices documented and disseminated;
  3. Policy proposals developed to enhance regional development programmes (e.g., in Vidzeme);
  4. Increased knowledge base and capacity on digitalization in agriculture across the partner network.

Total budget: 1 595 351,00 EUR

VPR budget: 226 60,00 EUR
